So, you have a bunch of profiles across different social spheres on the web. You got a facebook account for keeping in touch with friends, uploading/tagging pictures, etc. A linkedIn profile for your professional network. A twitter account for micro-blogging and content. A flickr account for posting random pictures. And quite possibly, a youtube account for videos. Now, the questions is: how can you direct people to one place where they can have access to all of that information?
I came across about.me sometime ago and I just created a profile recently about.me/hanyelemary. It’s a really simple way of creating a landing page (if you will) for yourself while including and organizing all of your social networks in one place. It also provides analytics on profile visits, etc … How many people viewed your profile … where they are coming from … How far your reach is.
Bottom line, if you want to create a webpage about yourself and don’t have the time or expertise to code the raw HTML/CSS, this is for you. Plus, it could be a very useful tool for promoting your business or yourself. Check it out!
